◆口に蜜あり、腹に剣あり Kuchi no mitsu ari, hara ni ken ari.
- 解釈：口先では調子のよい上手い事を言っているが、内心では人を傷つける企みを持っていることをいう。中国唐代の玄宗（げんそう）の宰相李林甫（りりんぽ）を評した言葉。
- Literal：There is honey in a mouth and there is a sword in a belly.
- Interpretation：Honey tongue, a heart of gall. Although he has made a compliment, real intention has malice.
- 類義：笑みの中（うち）の刀。口裏甘きこと蜜の如く、心裏毒なること蛇に似たり。口に甘きは腹に害あり。口に甘き者は、其心必ず苦し。口に接吻、胸に匕首（あいくち）。
